چکیده
Coronary-cameral fistula (CCF) is an uncommon congenital or acquired cardiac anomaly, which consists of an abnormal communication between a coronary artery and cardiac chamber. CCFs from the left circumflex coronary arteries are rare involved and drainage to the left ventricle (LV) is less common (less than 3%). We present a 32-year-old man who was admitted to our hospital with a history of fatigue, fever, and dyspnea on exertion. On the physical examination, there was a left parasternal murmur. Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) showed vegetation on the mitral and aortic valve, and an abscess cavity was observed near the posterior mitral leaflet. With pulsed wave Doppler of the TEE image, the structure that was believed to be an abscess cavity was

Novel Percutaneous Apical Exclusion of a Left Ventricular Pseudoaneurysm After Complicated Transapical Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement.
A 78-year-old woman with a history of coronary artery bypass grafting underwent transapical transcatheter aortic valve replacement with a Sapien XT (Edwards, Irvine, California) prosthesis that was complicated by an apical left ventricular pseudoaneurysm (LVPA). Unsuccessful attempts at closure included percutaneous, retrograde transaortic placement of a 12-mm Amplatzer Ventricular Septal Defec...

Introdution: Ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR) remains one of the most complex and unresolved aspects of ischemic heart disease that the impact of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on improvement of intensity of ischemic mitral regurgitation is not well clarified. Patients with coronary artery diseases and ischemic mitral regurgitation have a worse prognosis than the patients with coro...

Coronary artery fistulae (CAF) represent the most frequent congenital anomalies influencing hemodynamic parameters of coronary arteries. However, CAF complicated with a huge aneurysm does not frequently occur. Determining the optimal management of symptomatic patients with CAF and aneurysm still remains a challenging problem, and has been traditionally considered as an indication for cardiac su...
متن کاملPercutaneous transcatheter device closure of coronary arteriovenous fistula through persistent left superior vena cava.
Congenital coronary artery fistula is a rare malformation that may involve any or all coronary artery branches and any cardiac chamber. Elective closure of coronary artery fistula by surgery or percutaneous transcatheter technique is generally accepted in the presence of symptoms. Controversies exist in the management of asymptomatic patients. We report a case of successful percutaneous transca...
متن کاملCoronary anomaly preventing transcatheter closure of an atrial septal defect.
A 4-year-old asymptomatic girl presented for elective transcatheter closure of her ostium secundum atrial septal defect (ASD). Her examination revealed a fixed split second heart sound with a 2/6 systolic ejection murmur at the left upper sternal border and a right ventricular lift. Transthoracic echocardiogram demonstrated a 15-mm secundum ASD with a mildly dilated right ventricle. The left co...
